“Vibrant Tulips” is a bit chaotic and messy. The color leads the drama and I feel the spring wind and rain on me as I attempt to capture the feeling of them.
About the Maker
Melissa Anne Smith, a Northern Michigan-based artist, draws inspiration from her faith, nature, and the lakeshore. Living with her husband of 25 years and four of their six children, she works across multiple mediums, including oil, watercolor, gouache, and acrylic. For her, art is a soulful expression that connects people beyond differences, offering a shared sense of beauty and life.
